By car: the best way is via Italy; then, ferry to Igoumenitsa or Patras – then continue to drive to Piraeus to board the ferry from Piraeus to Naxos.

Ferries : during the summer, ferries run regularly departing from Piraeus to Naxos every day 7-8 am and afternoon 4-7 pm. Booking in advance is a necessity due to the large volume of tourists making their way from island to island for their holidays. There is not a direct non-stop ferry to Naxos, there are a few stops between Piraeus and Naxos; stops can include the islands of Paros.

By plane: Arrival is Athens “Eleftherios Venizelos” International Airport, upon arrival, connection flights are with Olympic Airways, or, upon airport arrival, take a taxi to the Port of Piraeus to connect to the ferry.

If you need, once on the island you can rent cars, motorbike, bicycles or equipment for surfing.
